HEALING WITH HORSES ZIMBABWE

Our Mission Statement: To heal children and communities through Equine Assisted Services.

The Centre is a non-profit, voluntary organisation with 30 trained ponies and horses.

We rely on the kindness of others, including voluntary help, donations and sponsorships to help those in need.

Have you ever experienced the soothing effect of connecting with an animal, feeling a sense of calmness, inner strength, and overall improvement in your ability to cope with life's challenges? At our Center, we believe that Equine Assisted Services offer a pathway to healing for both children and communities.

Our Hope for the Center

Healing with Horses Zimbabwe, in partnership with Mind the Gap Africa, aims to offer that sort of moment on a regular basis to disadvantaged children and adults in Bulawayo and Harare, Zimbabwe. At this time, the Centre is working with children from the Sandra Jones Centre, the King George VI Centre, Harvest Family Village, Mustard Seed Communities and Kenechi’s Place, as well as individuals from the community.

“When you cannot walk, let me help you run. When you are afraid, let me teach you trust. When you are weak. let me help you build strength. When you can’t find your voice, let us speak without words. When you want to give up, let me show you how far you can go.”
