It is our vision to help differently abled people with special needs to realise their self-worth and to take their place in the community with confidence, pride, and ability.
Healing with Horses Zimbabwe, in partnership with Mind the Gap Africa, is a registered non-profit Trust in Zimbabwe and a 501(c)(3) organisation in the USA. We provide free equine-assisted services to differently-abled and underprivileged children with special needs, as well as children in need of rehabilitation from trauma and abuse. To continue offering these services at no cost to the local community, we rely on your financial support and in-kind donations.
Our running costs..
$20 Pays for shoes for one horse for one month.
$25 Pays for one bag of food.
$150 Pays for one child to receive therapy for one month.
$250 Pays for hay for one pony for one month.
$350 Pays for one therapeutic pony for one month.
There are also many big projects on the go if you want to contribute towards them, please contact us for details.
No contribution is too small
Please note that donors from the USA can contribute through Mind the Gap Africa, our 501(c)3 partner there. Your donation receipt will come from Mind the Gap Africa, but we receive 100% of your donation to us. Your contribution from the USA is 100% tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
